Exciting changes ...

Sunday, March 30, 2008

As many of you have noticed, my Web site is actually a blog. Well, pretty soon this won't be the case. I've hired out a Web designer, and my graphic designer brother is in the process of updating my logo, so keep posted and one of these days when you to go to visit jessiealexisphotography.com, it won't be a blog but a genuine Web site! Exciting hu?

Bridal Fair

Friday, March 28, 2008

Hey brides and grooms, tomorrow is the Bridal Fair at Provo High from 10-6. Bridal fairs are a great way to plan weddings because all the vendors are there at your fingertips. I won't be there, but the fabulous Brittanie over at SAS Floral will be, and a few of my pictures (of her flowers) will be there on display, so make sure you stop by and say "hi!"

Rachael + Steven: Bridals

Rachael and Steve are getting married on April 26 at the Logan temple and I am so excited to shoot their wedding!

Here are a few more of my favorite shots:

Sneak Peek

Thursday, March 20, 2008

Here's a teaser from Rachael's bridal shoot at the amphitheater in Provo. I'm having computer/memory issues right now so I can't edit photos. I'm working on fixing this problem as I type ... so hopefully I'll be able to post the rest from this shoot soon.

Matt + Jana: the wedding

Thursday, March 13, 2008

This is the wedding of my brother-in-law Matt and his beautiful bride Jana. It was held at the Stonebridge Manor in Mesa Arizona, and I don't know if I've seen a more beautiful outdoor venue. I wasn't the official photographer, these are just a few shots I took from my seat and after the ceremony.

Mark + Careen: engaged

Wednesday, March 5, 2008

Before I got married, I lived in an apartment in Provo with Rachael and Careen. Shortly after I got hitched, they both found their own prince charmings and I'm the lucky one who was able to shoot both sets of engagement photos (meet Rachael and Steve here.)

We shot these in Riverwoods and it was f-r-e-e-z-i-n-g! It even started snowing towards the end, so a big thanks goes to Mark and Careen who braved the cold and were such fantastic subjects. I'm just so sad they'll be moving to St. Louis after they tie the knot.
