Photographing People seminar

Monday, January 19, 2009

On Saturday I had the wonderful opportunity to take a photography workshop from internationally renowned photographer Kenneth Linge. It was amazing to learn from someone who has been in the photography business for so long. Most of the time was spent in the classroom, but here are a few shots I took during the hands-on portion of the seminar.

Mormon Artist Magazine

Saturday, January 17, 2009

There are a few things that I have a special place in my heart for. A few of these things are magazines, small business and photography. Mix them all together and I'm pleased as punch. Recently I had the oportunity to take photos for an up-and-coming publication, Mormon Artist Magazine. I highly suggest you check it out! I took photos for the interview with Merrick White. Here are a few of my faves!

At church, I am assigned to be a leader to these beautiful young women. We have so much fun together, and for one of our weekly activities we went up to the Mount Timpanogos temple and took pictures. It was so much fun!

Thursday, January 8, 2009

I'm designing a sample album for the Thanksgiving Point Wedding Expo, and I decided to use Annie and Dan's pictures. This couple was so much fun to work with, and I loved the way their photos turned out. Here are a few of my favorite spreads:

I'm ordering this in "redlight red" and will post pictures just as soon as I have the album in hand!

Shelly + Scott: The Wedding

Tuesday, January 6, 2009

It was freezing cold, this poor couple was sick and there was snow everywhere. Though it may sound like a recipe for a bad day, nothing could keep these two down, and the happiness they shared was felt by everyone.
