Some prefer their name in lights...

but as I've mentioned before, I love seeing my name and my photography in print. This narcissistic quality is probably part of what drove me to succeed in my major in college. As a communications major, emphasis in print journalism, I spent a lot of time pounding out news stories that I wasn't satisfied with until I saw them in print on the front page. In fact, in my news writing class where we wrote for The Daily Universe, my nick name was "front page." True story. I also got the "most willing reporter" award because I jumped at every story opportunity that came my way, and put my whole heart into it. Even when I was writing about West Nile every other day. Anyway, yesterday my Utah Valley Magazine came in the mail, and I excitedly flipped to page 63 where a photo of one of my beautiful clients had been published. So go check it out!

The latest issue of Mormon Artist Magazine just hit the Web, featuring yours truly as the cover photographer. I was lucky enough to shoot the photos for the story about Tamilisa Wood and Susan Howe. I highly suggest you give this magazine a good read. Here are a few more photos from the shoots.

There are a few things that I have a special place in my heart for. A few of these things are magazines, small business and photography. Mix them all together and I'm pleased as punch. Recently I had the oportunity to take photos for an up-and-coming publication, Mormon Artist Magazine. I highly suggest you check it out! I took photos for the interview with Merrick White.
