F. Family

Repeat business is my favorite kind! I enjoyed photographing this family last year, so when Jenny called me again this year, I was elated! Unfortunatly, the little one was suffering from an ear infection, but we managed to draw some smiles out of him.

**update, the little man was actually suffering from H1N1 and was still cute and smiley. Can you say trouper!?

Missing Mexico

Tuesday, October 27, 2009

My life is wonderful and grand, and I know no matter how I word this it's going to sound completely spoiled and I apologize in advance. So here it is, coming home from vacation is hard! Settling back into the day-to-day routine hasn't quite happened for me yet, largely due to a fever that has taken residence in my body for the past week (yes, week) but has not brought any other symptoms to give us a clue as to what the cause might be. Awesome. So as a result, I feel much like my friend Paco in Cabo:

Listless and lacking motivation. Fear not clients, I have pushed through (mostly) and you will be seeing your photos shortly!

Natalie + Darren: Engaged

Thursday, October 22, 2009

Hey blog friends! Long time no see, eh? Well, I'm back from vacation (more on that later) and ready to blog my little heart out. I have some super fun shoots to share with you, starting with Natalie and Darren. Natalie is the sister of one of my previous brides and I cannot wait to shoot their wedding in Oakland this December!

Out of office

I will be out of town and away from internet connection and phone service until next Monday, October 19th. I am currently sailing the pristine pacific and I'll see you next week!

I really love the albums I offer in all my packages. They are soft and sexy, the perfect way to show off your wedding photos. They come in three different sizes and seven different colors. They lay flat and have nice, thick pages. The leather they are wrapped in is genuine, quality leather that is so soft, you'll want to cuddle with it every night. And not only are the albums perfection, they also come in the cutest canvas bags!

Angie Bridals

When Angie showed up for her bridals in this killer dress from Alta Moda Bridal, I just about died. I mean honestly, how stunning is she!?

Polka Dots and Daisies

Friday, October 2, 2009

More than two years ago, I got engaged. I jumped into the wedding planning with all the excitement of a bride-to-be only to discover I knew nothing about wedding planning. I didn't know where to start, I didn't know how to choose a cake, I had no idea how to calculate the number of guest to plan on for food and I certainly knew nothing about sending out invitations. I'd been told that an invitation was monumentally important, with it being the first taste of your wedding that the guest will receive. It's the first indication of what to expect, and as we all know, you can't mess up a first impression. Enter Mollie with Polka Dots and Daisies. We met her at a bridal show and she was the answer to our invitation prayers. Our invitations ended up being all we could have asked for and more.

Mollie continues to fulfill bride's invitation dreams, and I was lucky enough to photograph her latest work for her portfolio.
