Vintage Bridal Boudoir: A stylized garden party

Tuesday, June 17, 2014

Oh the details! The lighting! The models! Everything for this stylized garden party was pure perfection, and gushing so much beauty I can't limit it to just one post. This is the first of four installments featuring the details and the models together. Also, can you believe this is someone's actual backyard? I can just imagine myself lounging and sipping lemonade here all summer long.

Enjoying the in-between

Monday, November 23, 2009

As I waited for a couple to come to their engagement session, I was enjoying the beautiful surroundings and saw in the distance a snow-covered mountain. A hint of what's to come. The full colored blaze of fall has faded, and the shimmering snow of winter hasn't quite settled. But there is beauty in the in-between.

Here comes the sun!

Friday, February 20, 2009

I really love the snow. I love to watch giant flakes fall and watch the snow catch the sun and sparkle. But there comes a point when I'm just done with the snow, and I've sort of reached that point. Luckily the sun has appeared these past couple days and melted some of the snow and brightened up my life.

Busy weekend!

Friday, April 25, 2008

This weekend (and entire week for that matter) is crammed with stuff to do. Tonight I'm doing a family portrait session, I have a co-workers wedding reception, my friend's wedding bbq and a neighborhood pary. Tomorrow I'm shooting a wedding in Logan (can't wait!!) all day.

So! Check back for pictures of my fun weekend! For now, I'm going to leave you with this picture I took last summer in Fairview, Utah.

The great outdoors

My husband and I went up to my parents cabin with my family and some friends. It was nice to get away from everything and enjoy the beautiful surroundings!

Caribbean Vacation

Friday, June 15, 2007

My handsome husband and I just returned from our honeymoon in the Southern Caribbean. It was perfect! While we were there I purchased a 70-300 VR lens for my D80 -- I'm so excited!
